Roll A Gnome beginner guide

Learn the verified first-session route: roll, place, grow, harvest, sell, and reinvest without wasting your early momentum.

5-minute setup

Complete one full garden cycle first

Start by rolling a gnome and placing it on an open garden plot. Let it grow a crop, harvest that crop, and carry the harvest to the red Sell barn. That first sale teaches the complete economy better than chasing menus immediately.

After selling, put the cash back into the loop: improve your gnome lineup when it makes sense and expand the garden when you need more working space. The live game shows the final costs and requirements, so use its prompts as the authority.

Field note

Your first goal is not a perfect roll. It is a working garden that reliably turns time into harvests and harvests into cash.

Set up before you leave

The official game description confirms offline growth. Before ending a session, make sure the gnomes you want working are actually placed in the garden. When you return, check the plots, harvest what is ready, and sell before planning your next purchase.

  • Confirm useful gnomes are placed, not just sitting in your collection.
  • Leave the garden in a growing state.
  • On return: inspect, harvest, sell, then reinvest.

Read the live game before spending

Gameplay footage shows rotating Item Shop stock and later systems such as sprinklers, gnome upgrades, the Index, and Rebirth. Their availability, values, and tradeoffs can change. Check the description shown in your current server instead of relying on an old price or a remembered effect.

  • Know what problem a purchase solves before you buy it.
  • Keep the basic harvest-and-sell loop healthy while testing upgrades.
  • Treat exact numbers in videos or screenshots as a snapshot, not a promise.

Your second-session checklist

  • Harvest the garden and sell at the red barn.
  • Check whether your plots are being used effectively.
  • Choose one next improvement: lineup quality, garden space, or a clearly understood item.
  • Repeat the full loop and notice what now limits progress.
  • Open the Index when you want a broader collection goal.
